Process

How buying from us works

  1. Send us the product, grade, sizes, volume and destination port.
  2. We check availability with the mill and quote FOB, CFR or CIF (Incoterms 2020).
  3. You confirm the order and we agree the payment terms for it. The order then goes into production.
  4. Delivery is typically 4 to 8 weeks from confirmed order to your port, depending on requirements.
  5. The shipment carries a phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and packing list, plus a treatment certificate where relevant.

Tell us what you need. We will reply as soon as possible.

Export timber FAQs

Which shipping terms do you offer?

FOB from an Australian or New Zealand port, CFR to your port, or CIF with cargo insurance. We can also quote to a specific site where that suits the project.

What is the minimum order?

One container, 20 or 40 foot, depending on the lengths required. Most products load by the pack.

Can I mix products in one container?

Sometimes. It depends on the products, sizes and quantity of each, and we generally load no more than two species in one container, from the same mill or supplier.

Which documents does an export shipment carry?

A phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice and bill of lading, plus treatment or fumigation certificates where your country asks for them. Tell us your import requirements when you request a quote.

How long does delivery take?

Typically 4 to 8 weeks from a confirmed order to arrival at your port, depending on requirements, including the product, the mill and the shipping route. We confirm the expected lead time on each quote.
